Ingredients
Beef Wrap
- 400g Quality Mark sirloin steaks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 wholemeal wraps
Italian Salad Dressing
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- juice of 1/2 lemons
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- a pinch sea salt
Salad
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 red onions, finely sliced
- 4 handfuls salad greens
Method
- Season steaks with salt and pepper and oil. Heat a medium frying pan until very hot. Once pan is smoking add steaks. Cook for 3-4 minutes then turn over and fry for a further 3-4 minutes for medium cooked beef. Remove from pan and cover with foil. Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes.
- Place all salad dressing ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
- Warm up wraps in a microwave for 30 seconds or on a dry fry pan on a low heat.
- Slice the steak into fine strips. Alternatively use leftover sliced steak, cold or reheated.
- Assemble wraps with salad ingredients, steak slices and finish with the Italian salad dressing. Fold and roll to eat.
